Connor Towne O’Neill is the author of Down Along with That Devil’s Bones: A Reckoning with Monuments, Memory, and the Legacy of White Supremacy — named a best book of 2020 by Library Journal, a Best Southern Book of 2020 by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, and a 2020 Indie Next pick. He works as a writer, reporter, and producer on the NPR podcast White Lies. A graduate of the writing program at the University of Alabama, he lives in Auburn, AL, and teaches at the university there.
